Collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts, and ephemera of poet and publisher Peter Russell. Includes 16 copies of letters from Ezra Pound to Edgar Jepson, a small group of ephemera relating to Pound, and letters from other poets to Russell. Also includes two manuscript reviews and writings on William Carlos Williams by Thomas H. Carter. Collection also contains the galley proofs of the journal, Nine, for Aug. 1956, which was never published.

Peter Russell was an English poet, translator and critic. In the mid 1970s he held a writing fellowship as poet in residence at the University of Victoria in British Columbia.
